Self awareness and change

As an executive coach, Andrea’s philosophy centres on facilitating ongoing growth and change – helping clients navigate periods of professional confrontation and challenge, personal and organisational transformation, as well as opportunity. In short: empowering people to grow into their most effective leader, and develop acute awareness of their impact on their people, colleagues and on work culture. Andrea believes that self-awareness and insight are critical to effective and engaging leadership. By employing evidence-based approaches, supported by various leadership assessment tools, Andrea challenges her clients to examine their thinking patterns, make conscious and deliberate decisions, accept and learn from their mistakes and access new choices and outcomes.

Neuroplasticity

Through her practice, Andrea refers to the ongoing process of neuroplasticity – the ability of the brain to adapt to changes in an environment by forming new neural connections over time. Using this psychological insight, she is able to support her clients to adapt, master new skills, create more effective habits and make a difference in the way that leaders think and perceive the world around them.

Key outcomes

The key outcomes of a coaching program are centred on:

  • Establishing current mindsets, behaviours and performance vs desired performance

  • Narrative and espoused values vs actions

  • Intention vs impact
